Hatfield SAS

Rated 4.00 out of 5 based on 5 customer ratings
(5 customer reviews)

The Hatfield SAS utilizes a unique gas inertia system. The piston only moves an inch before kicking the bolt rearward to start the operating cycle. The SAS increases reliability by using fewer moving parts. The SAS works dependably with most commercial 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch magnum shells. The receiver is high strength 7075 aluminum and the vent rib barrel is supplied with Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder choke tubes. A fiber optic sight is also standard.

All firearms purchases must be shipped to a valid FFL. The transfer will take place at your specified FFL.

I was given one for 3 gunning and i love it. I milled my bolt down a hair for faster cycling but overall 5 stars!!

I bought the 12 gauge Hatfield semi-automatic shotgun yesterday at Walmart for $198 I took it out the following morning for dove season and I could not get it to cycle the rounds properly I had to manually cycle it myself. After two rounds I noticed the barrel slid up a bit coming loose I had to keep tightening the top nut in order to continue hunting. It had done that with both the normal gas chamber and the heavy gas chamber. After taking my gun apart to clean it I have noticed many parts inside the gun itself have Burrs sticking up from the metal the backside of the unit has not been polished like the front side of the unit causing a lot of friction. I guess you get what you pay for in the end

Bought a sas 12ga today for under $200 new. Cycled both federal and winchester bulk trap ammo perfectly. Its a very nice soft shooting gun! Rough machining inside on some parts but not as bad as some taurus handguns ive owned. The machining didn’t hinder my gun at all. Your not buying a browning so dont expect that kind of quality but for a new gun under $200 you cant beat this!
